Paraguari

Paraguarí is the capital of the department (state) Paraguarí.

The charm­ing town with just over 24,000 inhab­i­tants is direct­ly con­nect­ed to the Ruta 1 (Paraguayan high­way) and is only 60 km from the state cap­i­tal of Paraguay, Asuncion.

In Paraguarí there are many stores, super­mar­kets with a wide selec­tion, doc­tors’ offices, banks includ­ing ATMs, coop­er­a­tives and schools.

There are also shop­ping facil­i­ties for build­ing and elec­tri­cal supplies.

Of course, Paraguarí also offers var­i­ous bode­gas and restaurants.

There are sev­er­al nature reserves in the vicin­i­ty of Paraguarí, such as Eco Reser­va Mbat­ovi, Cer­ro Hü, Cer­ro Peró and Yby­cuí Nation­al Park.
